Dear friends, the most comfortable and easy way to go to Koprivshtitsa is with car. Ask your tourist representative for Rent a Car possibilities. From Sofia, using the beautiful road to Burgas (this is the old road to Burgas, the new one is highway through Plovdiv) that goes in south side of Stara Planina Mountain, the distance is 110 km. From Burgas the kilometers are about 300. If you are coming from South Bulgaria, via Plovdiv or Pazardjik the road through Panagurishte and Strelcha is a good choice. It is a little harder to visit Koprivshtitsa from North Bulgaria because people have to travel through one of Stara Planina Mountain passes or via Sofia.

Because of new carrier on bus line Koprivshtitsa - Sofia, there is new bus schedules. You can see the schedule from the Municipality's website.

People who like traveling by train can use one of the 5 trains that pass daily near Koprivshtitsa on their way to Burgas, Karlovo, Sofia, etc. For more information about the time-tables you can visit www.bdz.bg. The train station of Koprivshtitsa is about 7-8 km from the town but there is bus transportation to Koprivshtitsa for every train that stops at the station.
